Like many women of colour, my career has been a journey of both wins and setbacks.

I’ve dealt with micro-aggressions, imposter syndrome, and burnout while trying to prove my worth at leadership tables where I was the only Black woman.

I know what it’s like to follow all the “rules,” do everything right, and still feel unseen and undervalued. It’s exhausting.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

My turning point came when I worked with a career coacha decision that changed everything. Coaching helped me stop questioning whether I was “good enough” and start recognizing my strengths, advocating for myself, and creating my own opportunities.

That transformation inspired me to launch Lead to Change in 2020.
